This project stems from a fascination (read obsession) towards the monoblock chair, both in its industrial design innovation standpoint and its democratic utilitarian appeal.

The monorug chair is an experiment in material, and homage to an undeniable pop culture icon steeped into the visual vernacular of the Arab world.
